Job descriptions:
- Supervise and coordinate the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in accordance with project plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with overall construction plans.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to assess the performance and condition of MEP systems, identifying deficiencies and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor project progress, track MEP installation milestones, and report on key performance indicators to project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and building codes related to MEP systems installation and operation.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to coordinate MEP activities, resolve conflicts, and maintain productive working relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, plumbing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an MEP Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively supervise a team of technicians and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, subcontractors, and project team members.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and MEP schematics.
- Familiarity with MEP-related software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and building management systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic construction environment.
