Operation & Reservation Staff

Kelana DMC, a destination management company, catering for overseas customers, travel agencies and travel wholesalers from a host of countries worldwide, is looking for:
Reservation & Operation Staff

1. Makes reservations for products (programs, itineraries for FITs & GITs) prepared by the Account Managers; these reservations are for hotels, guides, transportation, 3rd party products and any other parties/companies that are necessary to execute the programs which the Account Managers have been preparing.
2. Observes all the standards and protocols that have been set by Kelana DMC management when making those reservations.
3. Particularly, the Reservation Officer will make all required reservations for the Account Managers, thus enabling the Account Managers to concentrate on their core activity. 
4. It is well understood that the Reservation Officer will perform all her/his duties in an independent way, but according to all guidelines and protocols set forward by Kelana DMC management.  
5. The Reservation Officer will carry out her duties with the highest care for details. 
6. The Reservation Officer shall not enter into any third party working or consulting agreement or conduct business affairs on behalf of another employer in a paid or unpaid capacity during the term of this Agreement, without the written approval of the Employer.
7. Under no circumstances shall the Reservation Officer devote his time and ability to any endeavor which would injure or prove detrimental to the operations of the Employer or its Businesses. To this end, the Reservation Officer shall always put forth her/his best conscientious efforts and act in good faith to promote the best interests of the Employer and its Businesses.
8. Without limiting the scope of duties of the Employee as a Reservation Officer, she/he shall have primary responsibility for the above. The above list is exemplary and not comprehensive.
9. The Reservation Officer shall notify Management immediately in case the Employee notices a mistake in her or another department involving the proper handling of the clients of the Employer. 
10. Whenever the Account Manager is aware of any deterioration or problem with the suppliers of Kelana DMC, she/he will notify their Management in a timely manner.
11. Above tasks will be executed in close cooperation with Operation & Reservation Manager
