As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Pastry Commis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and production of a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts.
• Follow established recipes and techniques to ensure consistency in product quality.
• Measure and assemble ingredients, as well as prepare and bake items according to our standards.
• Collaborate with the pastry team to execute daily production plans efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients.
• Contribute to the development of new pastry ideas and menu items.
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience in pastry / bakery preparation.
• 1 year minimum proven experience in a pastry or baking role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions with precision.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and delicious pastries.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
