Payroll Officer

Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be partnered with a health care provider who are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team. As a Payroll Officer, you will be an integral part of the Finance department and will be ensuring that each stage of the payroll process complies with due processes and procedures, and working with a third party provider. The role will report to the Head of Finance. You'll work on the monthly payroll with a volume of circa 200.
The Payroll Officer responsibilities will include:
- Be the first point of contact for employees for any payroll related queries.
- Deliver payroll within agreed SLA's, ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with legislation, internal policy, process and controls.
- Gather data and maintain accurate records of all payroll transactions.
- Produce P11D, P45, P60.
- Ensure that strict deadlines are met.
- Work to streamline processes.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and 3rd party providers.
- Support the Head of Finance with any project work.
What you will need to be successful in the role:
- Minimum 4 years' experience in payroll.
- Have a service driven mindset with very high attention to detail.
- Exceptional excel skills.
- The ability to work in a standalone role.
