Planner - Scaffolding

Some of your duties will include:

• Responsible to prepare work packages for every planned scaffolding maintenance activity inclusive of preventive and corrective maintenance. 
• Plan and arrange all activities related with scaffolding equipment maintenance to enhance equipment and plant accessibility and competence supporting site production supplies.
• Coordinate daily as well as weekly planning meetings related with scaffolding maintenance.
• Ensure to execute preventive scaffolding maintenance techniques to improve overall efficiency.
• Create scaffolding maintenance schedules and generate work orders.
• Maintain scaffolding parts inventory.
• Create procedural manuals that explain how to do certain tasks.
• Estimate cost of labours and part for industrial equipment.
• Adjust schedules to account for unexpected work.
• Assist and support Superintendent Scaffolding
• Serve as a liaison between maintenance and operations.
• Maintain records and files essential to maintenance management.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff, contractors, and external vendors.
• Prepare preventive maintenance plans that are aligned with the organization’s maintenance goals.
• propose new procedure to ensure effective and efficient Project Development – Scaffolding Department.
• Actively encourage and support team members to participate in decision-making processes and to assume responsibility and exercise initiative.
• Encourage and promote continuous improvement by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work practices and procedures.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Tertiary degree qualification in civil / electrical / industrial / process engineering.
• Have minimum 7 years experiences as planner, especially to handle scaffolding equipment maintenance
• Proficiency with Preventive and Corrective Maintenance software; Expert with SAP Module - Plant Maintenance (Preventive & Corrective Maintenance).
• Have knowledge in Computerized Maintenance Management System, PC and Software applications.
• Have good organizational skills; Excellent attention to detail; Have strong analytical skills; Safety first mindset; Good contractor management skills; Team player; Good interpersonal skills; High level Communication skills; Problem detection and resolution skills are essential.
• Good in communication skills in English both verbal and written; computer literate.
