As a PMO Senior Engineer IIsupporting the Project Team, you will be trusted to work at the Batam Plant. The role is responsible for managing projects as a Project Manager from project initiation to project completion including the development project management plans, budgets, scope and schedule and provide leadership to the project team as assigned.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Lead and provide oversight to the projects teams and oversee the technical designs, setup of equipment, processes, business systems and regulatory approvals for assign projects
Coordinate and work with all stakeholders both internally and externally
Provide overall project execution strategy and actively manage any risks (cost, time, quality) to the projects
Provide project management and guidance for the site projects. Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, Capital & Expense cash flow tracking and site management reporting on a regular basis
Support for the development of transfer and project documentation eg, MPTP, TDP, CRs, comparison documents, etc
Support the development of project management templates and software
Manage and support engineering projects (improvement/transfer/equipment) to ensure timely completion within schedule, cost and in compliance of all standards
Provide and/or review technical specifications and SOPs necessary for production processes
Adherence to values and standards, observe and ensure full compliance with Corporate Citizenship Policy and Code of Conducts. Ensuring all engineering projects, initiatives and processes are in conformance with cGMP standards, ISO13485 and Alcon Quality/Compliance, Safety Standards, Information Security Policy, IGM & HSE policy.
Working in accordance with the HSE manual and documented procedures, and reporting HSE issues to the respective area owners.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
Degree in either Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or relevant field
At least 5 years of experience in leading small and medium sized projects from initiation until completion with Experience in managing project schedule and budgets
Experience leading big projects with significant capital investment (more than US5mil) working with internal and external stakeholders in the Medical Device industry
Experience in leading the project team
Potential to travel to the transferring site or vendor location
Proficient in communicating in English both verbally and written to work with the Global team
