Job Description:
Preschool Teacher
- Master and implement the lesson plan and activities provided by the school
- Conduct effectively daily classes
- Develop and implement supplemental activities that promote the cognitive, social and emotional development of children
- Create a warm, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and promotes positive interactions among children
- Observe and assess the progress of each child and communicate as needed with parents regarding their child’s development
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to plan and implement special events
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment, and ensure that all materials and equipment are in good working condition
- Attend meetings, PTCs, and participate in trainings and other professional and personal development opportunities
- Adhere to all school policies, health and safety regulations
Teacher’s Aid
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing the lesson plans and activities in the classroom
- Support the lead teacher in creating a warm, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
- Work with individual children or small groups of children to provide additional support or enrichment as needed
- Assist with classroom management tasks, such as maintaining a clean, organized and safe classroom environment, and ensuring that all materials and equipment are in good working condition
- Assist in the preparation of visual aids, learning materials, props for school events or other materials as needed
