We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate Product Manager to help us in growing our Accommodation business. In this role, you will experiment with various pricing strategies to grow the business, analyze massive amounts of data to generate competitive insights, and work with diverse stakeholders to arrive at investment plans for markets and channels. As part of the Pricing Strategy team, you will be required to have a strong understanding of pricing concepts, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Pricing Strategy for Accommodation business
- Design and deploy pricing actions, balancing short term financial goals with the longer-term strategic imperatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, revenue and growth, supply growth, and marketing, to ensure alignment of pricing strategies implementation with overall business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate implemented pricing strategy metrics, provide recommendations for adjustments as needed to maximize growth and profitability.
- Support the development and execution of pricing experiments and A/B tests to optimize pricing strategies.
Competitive Insight and Analytics
- Maintain reliability and accuracy of competitiveness monitoring dashboard
- Maintain awareness of price competitiveness and update pricing strategies on a regular basis, in accordance with the agreed strategy from stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, customer behavior, and competitor pricing to generate actionable insights.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in pricing strategy.
Operational Excellence
- Act as the go-to expert for pricing-related inquiries from various stakeholders.
- Proficiently utilize relevant tools for problem identification and comprehensive root cause investigation.
- Independently manage the end-to-end pricing setup of simple campaigns with limited dependencies to other team members and leads
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in internal processes to expedite problem handling process based on these findings
