Requirements
- Has strong procurement and expediting experience.
- Mining experience preferred, not a must.
- Expected: 7 - 10 years’ experience.
- Has a can do mentality. Will full fill buyer and expeditor role.
- English well spoken and written
- Strong team player. Experience in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Has strong analytical skills: Procurement managers work with multiple vendors to determine the best deals for the company, and have to evaluate the many pros and cons of each, based on price, quality, speed of delivery and other factors.
- Negotiating Skills: Procurement managers will be working with suppliers to create the best deals.
