About the RoleAs our Contract Product Researcher, you’ll be embedded in the Monetization and Promotion Platform group that directly impacts Gojek’s merchant and brand partners. You'll take the wheel in running and managing research works that will guide product development processes for ads and promo products. The Head of Business, Head of Product, Product Managers, Product Designers and Business Strategy teams will be your key stakeholders and companions on this ride. What You Will Do
- Independently manage end-to-end research projects, from scoping work, advising suitable methodologies, designing and executing research plans, and reporting to the stakeholders
- Advocate a consumer-centric mindset and metrics to your stakeholders through persuasion and inclusion in order to deliver insights that will spark action
- Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to fine-tune methodology and results
- Influence team members to prioritize discipline in documentation (such as reporting, filing, and repository management) to ensure team accountability
- Lead and facilitate cadences between team members and stakeholders, and proactively give and seek constructive feedback to support product & business initiatives
What You Will Need
- At least 3 years of experience in Qualitative Product Research
- Intermediate to advanced experience and knowledge of Qualitative methods, including but not limited to: in-depth interviews, focus group discussion, concept testing, moderated & unmoderated usability testing, heuristics evaluation, diary studies, and participatory design
- Basic to intermediate understanding of some Quantitative methods, including one of the following: customer segmentation, funnel analysis, consumer behavior, usage, and attitude studies, and copy testing
- Ability to identify biases from different research techniques and advise on how to avoid them
- A proven track record of designing, executing, and analyzing user research, and comfortable designing and executing research independently from start to finish
- Experience working with research vendors, both offline and online
- Prior team leadership experience is a must
- Comfortable communicating and influencing different levels of stakeholders and users in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and verbal)
