Responsibilities:
- To create, build, and maintain supplier relationships (Principal/Distributor/Vendor).
- Sourcing products and negotiating with suppliers regarding purchase price, Terms of Payment (TOP), and lead time delivery.
- Provide price and vendor comparison.
- Establish supplier performance evaluation and resolve supplier issues.
- Delivering product knowledge, conducting training sessions for the Sales team and customers, and attending meetings as required.
- Identify new market and product opportunities that can deliver business growth and profitability.
- Analysing Category Product Performance: product assortment and price competitiveness.
- Make recommendations and suggestions for new products or substitutes for the Sales team or customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimal 2 (two) years of working experience in the same role or position.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the variety of MRO products.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both spoken and written.
- Must have good time management and teamwork skills.
- Advanced in Ms. Office, especially has strong knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint.
