Job Summary
A project Manager job will be in charge of projects from initiation to close, making sure the work gets done efficiently and satisfactorily. As team leaders with day-to-day schedules that are constantly changing, a static Project Manager job description would be hard to come by. Days can be filled with planning the project process, creating a budget, managing a team or communicating with clients. Project Manager will be a go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads the project team through all phases of the Software Development process
- Facilitate all scrum ceremonies seeking to create regular “Sprint Rhythm”
- Identifies and drives implementation of continuous improvements within the project team.
- Proactively identifies and helps to resolve issues that impact achievement of team sprint commitments.
- Regularly reports overall project status to management and key stakeholders, escalating major issues as necessary.
- Maintains a project repository of historical and current project information
- Facilitates team meetings and other day-to-day activities as required by the team
- Ensures the team is fully functional, cooperating and productive
- Shields team from external interferences and removes obstacles
- Suggest and implement improvements to project management, software development and other organizational processes.
