Job Description :
- Predict the level of demand for products
- Perform daily checks on stock levels
- Conduct research to ensure products from the best suppliers in terms of value, delivery schedule and quality
- Be a liaison between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers
- Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers
- Negotiating and agreeing contracts, monitoring the quality of services provided
- Save the contract file and use it as a reference if needed
- Predict price trends and their impact on future activity
- Give presentations on market analysis and growth possibilities
- Develop purchasing strategy
- Generate reports and statistics using computer software
- Evaluate bids and make recommendations, based on commercial and technical factors
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Purchasing Manager (especially in automotive industry)
- Aged between 30 to 45 years old
- Bachelor Degree in any discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communication English skills.
- Accustomed to handling imported goods.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines.
