Position: Quality Control Manager
Job Summary: The Quality Control Manager will ensure the highest quality standards are consistently met throughout all stages of production in our retail apparel and fashion company. This role involves overseeing Quality Control processes for various manufacturing processes, including sewing, washing, printing, embroidery, knitting, and smocking. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality management within the apparel industry and possess strong leadership skills to manage subcontractors and internal Quality Control teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Quality Control Procedures:
- Design and implement comprehensive Quality Control procedures and protocols for each production stage, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Establish clear Quality Control checkpoints and inspection criteria for subcontractors and internal production teams.
- Manage Subcontractors:
- Coordinate with subcontractors responsible for sewing, washing, printing, embroidery, knitting, and smocking to ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery schedules.
- Conduct regular audits and performance evaluations of subcontractors to identify areas for improvement and address any quality issues promptly.
- Quality Assurance Oversight:
- Oversee all aspects of quality assurance processes, including product testing, inspection, and quality assurance documentation.
- Work closely with production managers to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Training and Development:
- Provide training and guidance to subcontractors and internal production teams on Quality Control procedures, product specifications, and quality standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence within the organization.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze Quality Control data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive quality reports and presentations for management review, highlighting key performance indicators and quality metrics.
