Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical management.
- 10 years of general construction QC or QS function experience, or related field.
- Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Expert in calculating progress work and step and compare it between plan and actual progress.
- Experienced in material checking, inspection phase procedure would be desirable.
- In-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing, and QC issue would be preferred.
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
- Analyze computerized materials requirements planning (MRP), verify component or raw material availability, and create stock transfer orders on requests for material delivery to Service.
- Proven strong data analysis and reporting skills and experience with at least 2 years of work in a position with comparable skill requirements.
- Coordination, negotiation, and monitoring of delivery dates.
Job Responsibilities :
- Review technical plans and prepare quantity needs.
- Estimate the quantity and costs of materials (BoQ).
- Set budgets for payments, inventory needs, and materials.
- Analyse costs for additional Change Order needs.
- Keep track of construction materials and inventory.
- Advise company on improvements, strategies, and / or estimated costs.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with contractors and subcontractors.
- Capable of backing up the clerical duties of the Receiving function in the absence of union associates or when additional help is needed.
- Audit Receiving material receipts for inventory accuracy as necessary.
- Trace and expedite delivery of freight shipments when needed.
