Hast Indonesia is a company in Health and Wellness Consumer Goods Industry, we produce healthy packaged Food and Beverage goods.

We are seeking a creative and innovative Research and Development Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food science and culinary arts, with a keen eye for emerging food trends and a dedication to excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new recipes and products, improving existing ones, and ensuring all creations meet quality, cost, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the development of new food products and recipes from concept to launch, ensuring they meet the company's standards for taste, quality, and nutrition.
- Improve and refine existing products based on feedback, cost reduction strategies, and new technological advances.
- Conduct market research to identify food trends, dietary needs, and customer preferences.
- Collaborate with marketing, production, quality assurance and bio chemical engineering RnD teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Source and evaluate new ingredients and technologies to enhance product quality and sustainability.
- Ensure all new recipes and product modifications meet regulatory requirements and food safety standards.
- Conduct presentations and cooking demonstrations for stakeholders and potential clients.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in culinary arts or food science are a plus.
- Proven experience as an R&D Chef, Product Development Chef, or similar role in the food industry.
- Strong understanding of food science principles, culinary techniques, and flavor profiling.
- Experience with recipe formulation and scaling.
- Knowledge of current food trends, nutrition, and dietary restrictions, understanding general knowledge about biochemical for F&B are a plus. 
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

IDR 18.000.000 - 22.000.000 Monthly Salary
