Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall operations of the resort, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction and service excellence.
- Lead and manage a diverse team of resort staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth, occupancy rates, and profitability.
- Monitor and maintain the resort's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
- Collaborate with various departments, such as housekeeping, food and beverage, and front office, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Maintain and enhance the resort's reputation by upholding high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality throughout all areas.
- Foster positive relationships with guests, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including health and safety standards, licensing requirements, and environmental sustainability practices.
- Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the resort's unique offerings and cultivating partnerships with local businesses and tourism organizations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the Hospitality Industry, preferably in a luxury resort or hotel setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and proficiency in local languages being a plus.
- Exceptional customer service orientation, with a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Solid understanding of resort operations, including front and back-of-house functions, food and beverage services, and housekeeping.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data, develop budgets, and drive revenue growth.
- Knowledge of local regulations and industry best practices related to resort management.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required.
- Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
