Santanera Restaurant Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our culinary team and ensure the smooth operation of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and a strong understanding of restaurant operations. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities, managing staff, maintaining high-quality service standards, and driving profitability.
Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards.
- Manage and optimize workflows.
2. Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff.
- Schedule shifts and ensure adequate coverage.
- Provide coaching and performance feedback to maintain a motivated and skilled team.
3. Customer Service:
- Uphold and enhance customer service standards to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
4. Menu Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with chefs to update menus.
- Coordinate daily specials, promotions and events.
5. Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Implement and enforce sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
6. Reservation Department:
- Ensure reservation effectiveness and maintenance of SOP’s.
- Coordinate with the Chef to ensure effectiveness and improvements of
Service.
Qualifications:
● Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a high-volume restaurant setting.( Min 3 years)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively.
- Excellent knowledge of industry trends, customer preferences, and competition.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software.
(Quinos knowledge is a plus)
- Knowledge of food and beverage trends, including dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Effective communication skills with both team members and customers.
- Effective wine knowledge is a plus
