Our Sous Chef will work closely with the Chef de Cuisine to lead our dedicated culinary team in creating delicious menu items that blend innovation and excitement.  The ideal person will accomplish their tasks by monitoring the daily functions of the culinary department, including providing support and guidance to our colleagues, ending in a positive guest experience. 
  
Responsibilities include: 
  • Work closely with the front of the house F&B team to ensure successful service
  • Supervise and assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items
  • Develop and implement creative menu items that adhere to Hyatt brand standards
  • Short- and long-term planning for the department
  • Hire, train, and empower colleagues
  • Review performance and support career objectives of colleagues
  • Oversee payroll, scheduling, reporting, forecasting, inventory, and budget
  • Address questions as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality
  • Implement procedures to increase guest and colleague satisfaction
  • Ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt standards
