Sales Distribution Manager

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, logistics, or a related field. A master's degree may be preferred.
• Proven experience in sales management within the logistics industry, with a focus on distribution and trucking services.
• Strong knowledge of distribution logistics, transportation regulations, and industry trends.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Leadership abilities with experience in managing and motivating a sales team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
• Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings and business development activities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the distribution (trucking) segment.
• Identify target markets, industries, and potential clients for distribution services.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, including manufacturers, retailers, and distributors.
• Conduct sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations to acquire new business.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the distribution segment.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure team members meet or exceed sales targets.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including revenue, margins, and client acquisition rates.
• Generate regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
