Job responsibilities
Thoroughly understand client’s IT infrastructure, application architecture, critical assets monitored by SOC, business impact attached to critical assets and advice SOC on data source onboarding, use case management and incident investigation tasks
Build and maintain effective professional relationships with client’s info sec leadership and technical stakeholders.
Work with clients to develop information security strategies, framework and roadmaps
Identify account opportunities and develop / implement solutions to enhance the customer experience and improve customer satisfaction - be the customer advocate
Proactively monitor incidents, violation trends and suggest automation / use case tuning / process based remediation actions
Actively participate in periodic SOC cadence and ad hoc meetings
Serve as an escalation point to client requests, Service Delivery issues and work with SOC team to suggest remediation actions to SOC management.
Serve as a subject matter expert for SOCs continuous service improvement program
Review changes to SOC systems and participate in Change Advisory Board meetings
Engage in the customer escalation process and post-mortems as needs dictate
Coordinate with SOCaaS centre of excellence team to implement innovative solutions to improve SOC’s visibility and detection capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in one or more of following areas : SOC functions, IT security, Engineering or any other related field
Experience in managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Experience in the Asia Pacific region working in close collaboration with Sales, Operations and other cross functional teams
Ability to multi-task and prioritize with great attention to detail
Ability to function effectively under pressure in time sensitive situations
Ability to interpret security information to develop risk-based assessments and improvement recommendations
Ability to originate new projects with existing clients through understanding of client business needs
Ability to understand the corporate environment, key business and technology drivers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective presentation skills
Requires strong decision making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
