The Opportunity:
In this role, you will be part of the Operations Team. As a Setup Asst. Manager, you will lead the Club Business Partner (CBP) team, Maintenance Team, IT Team, and GA Team to ensure all club establishment projects run according to the timeline and ensure all club standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of CBP, in which each team member is responsible for ensuring all club establishment projects meet the timelines and according to standardization.
- Set the strategy to ensure all the club establishments are completed within the wide range of coordination from all the operation departments: project, procurement, IT, HR (for manpower planning for each club), club operations, and expansion.
- Set, align, and update all the standardization for all club establishments, in cooperation with all respective departments.
- Set the strategy for post-club establishment/ long-term quality standardization to be applied to all clubs, to maintain the long-term sustainability of each club, in cooperation with respective departments: maintenance, IT, procurement, HR, and club operations.
- Make sure all the setup team hands on the same standardizations to be applied for all club establishments, long sustainability, and future development needed.
- Ensure all clubs meet compliance matters & company guidelines.
- Ensure all Setup Related requests/needs from the club to HO and vice versa, are maintained according to timelines and standard
- Manage team of GA responsible for Head Office and Academy
- Ensure all GA-related requests and matters are maintained accordingly
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in management, business, or a related field could be preferred.
- Min 4 - 5 years of experience. Relevant experience in gym management, fitness facility setup, GA, or a related field is often required.
- Understanding fitness equipment, exercise routines, gym layout optimization, safety standards, and industry trends is beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important for coordinating with equipment suppliers, fitness trainers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to plan and execute the setup of gym facilities efficiently, ensuring proper equipment placement and adherence to safety regulations.
- Capable of identifying and resolving issues related to equipment installation, layout design, and safety concerns.
- Working collaboratively with fitness trainers, maintenance staff, and other relevant teams to achieve an effective and safe gym setup.
