Structural Engineer

1. Project Planning and Design:

• Develop detailed project plans, including feasibility studies, cost estimates, and timelines.
• Design and draft engineering plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Ensure that projects comply with relevant regulations and standards.

2. Construction Oversight:

• Supervise and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals involved in the construction process.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve any issues that may arise.

3. Risk Assessment and Quality Control:

• Identify potential risks and challenges associated with projects and develop mitigation strategies.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure the durability and safety of structures.

4. Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including architects, surveyors, and construction managers.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

5. Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure that projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals for construction projects.

6. Budget Management:

• Develop and manage project budgets, keeping costs within the allocated resources.
• Evaluate and recommend cost-effective solutions for construction projects.

Qualifications:

1. Education: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.

2. Professional Licensure: SKA Madya is a must.

3. Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, experience with Revit is a plus.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.

4. Communication Skills:

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

5. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges that may arise during the design and construction phases.

6. Experience: Depending on the position, employers may require a certain level of work experience, often gained through internships or entry-level positions.

7. Teamwork and Leadership: Ability to work collaboratively in a team and take on leadership roles when necessary.
