Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage rig operations in the assigned area, ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and productivity.
- Implement and monitor production plans to meet targets and exceed client expectations.
- Ensure strict adherence to our client and their client work procedures and regulations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, fostering open communication and mutual respect.
- Oversee rig maintenance and equipment upkeep, optimizing performance and minimizing downtime.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of computer and Sunfish systems, utilizing them effectively for data analysis and reporting.
- Implement safety procedures and conduct thorough risk assessments, upholding a culture of safety across all operations.
- Lead, develop, and motivate your team, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Manage budgets effectively, optimizing resource allocation to achieve operational goals.
- Navigate external inspections with confidence, ensuring compliance and demonstrating transparency.
- Serve as a role model for your team, upholding the highest ethical and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably with direct rig management experience.
- IADC or IWCF certification required.
- Proven track record of exceeding production targets and maintaining budget controls.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in computer systems and data analysis tools, including Sunfish.
- In-depth knowledge of oil and gas rig equipment and operational procedures.
- Commitment to safety and environmental protection.
- English language proficiency is essential.
