• Ordering, receiving, inventories, organizing and selling of all offered beverage
• Extensive cost management experience required
• Oversee beverage training, classes, pre-shifts, and other continuing educational items
• Assist team members and guests during service with beverage recommendations and selection for the perfect paring for their food or general experience
• Handles multiple priorities, works under stress and exercises good judgment when dealing with all guest and internal situations
• Ensures that guests receive excellent service at all times
• Ensures that health and safety standards and procedures are respected
• Understands how to anticipate and deliver customer needs and must demonstrate a true passion for luxury service
• Identify and implement creative logistical solutions when needed
• Work with Director of RB&E to manage Beverage Partnerships and Programs, including Core Beverage Corporate Compliance
• Works with vendors to cultivate unique and cost effective menus
• Works with Programming department when needed for any beverage sponsorship needs
• Works with the Thompson Sales team with beverage selections and service during events
• Works with marketing, social media, and PR to drive revenue and create interest
• Ensures that company standards with regards to service are followed at all times
• Performs duties that require organization, speed, and efficiency
• Assist in other areas of the restaurant and hotel when needed
• Assist in vetting and hiring of new employees
• Writes all bar schedules
