Job Description
The Brand manager is responsible for the development of specific Marketing Programs and Plan for the Companion Animal Business Segment product. Provide strategic recommendation and sound market insights.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develops specific marketing plans for products or species
- Interprets and translates scientific clinical data into commercial implications.
- Conducts and manages primary and secondary market research projects, including labeling and advertising.
- Analyses data and makes strategic recommendations. Provides marketing insight and direction to optimize new product launches.
- Recommends pricing strategies, and monitors budget and expenditures. Ensures product placement and development corresponds to market needs.
- Represents marketing group on cross–functional team interfacing with product development, production and manufacturing to develop new products or enhance existing products or product lines.
- The CA Brand Manager is responsible for the tactical execution of the Brand Plan in Indonesia, which includes but not limited to:
- Leading the development of marketing tactical plans, implementation and influencing third-parties
- Monitoring and directly supervising all marketing programs of assigned brand according to budget
- Developing briefs for communication and media agencies
- Coordinate with Technical Services, Sales team, and distributors to support them in product knowledge and marketing support
Requirements:
- Broad knowledge about the Companion Animal Business area
- In-depth technical knowledge of relevant clinical areas
- Preferably working experience in veterinary clinic and knowledge of the vet. pharmaceutical industry
- Finance and financial analysis skills
- Marketing and marketing planning experience
- Knowledge and leadership skills in marketing concepts, strategies, and tactics.
- Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or related area
Veterinary and/or AH Professional training will be an advantage - At least 5 years experience in the Animal Health area of which 2 years are in a Marketing role
- High integrity and ethical standards
- Flexibility (open to change, adapts to the situation)
- Analytical ability (outlining, specifying, rational)
- Interaction (open, good listening skills, strong communicator)
- Persistence and consistence, able to work under time pressure.
