Job opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee our semi-automated manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and leading a team of 50-100 employees, enhancing operational efficiency, and achieving set goals. This role requires a hands-on approach to task assignment, problem-solving, and process improvement, with a strong emphasis on trustworthiness and the ability to earn the respect of the team.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations such as FMCG, and manufacturing.
- Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Business Management, Food & Beverage, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluency in English.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve goals and improve processes.
- Experience in hiring and team development.
- Ability to communicate effectively and earn the respect of employees.
- Must have a driver’s license.
- Ability to work hands-on and not shy away from manual tasks.
- A fair, but authoritative approach to management, including the ability to make tough decisions.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day factory operations to ensure smooth functioning across production, inventory, merchandising, and delivery while empowering teams to meet their objectives
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in alignment with BPOM standards to ensure compliance and operational excellence
- Manage production schedules effectively to enhance productivity and reduce downtime, with a focus on equipment maintenance and alignment with business goals
- Monitor KPIs to maintain and boost efficiency and productivity, leading efforts to optimize performance and achieve operational goals
- Provide comprehensive operational reports to the CEO and management team, highlighting performance metrics, challenges faced, and opportunities for improvements
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operational team by fostering a positive and collaborative environment, setting clear performance expectations, and offering regular feedback and development opportunities. Address personnel issues promptly to maintain high morale and productivity while enforcing company policies
