As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and developing strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and expanding the customer base. Your primary objective will be to increase revenue and market share while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements :
· Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
· Minimum 10 years Business Development Manager experience in Freight Forwarding/ Logistics
· Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar sales role within the Freight Forwarding industry.
· Demonstrated ability to identify and convert sales opportunities, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Results-oriented mindset with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
Responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and company objectives.
· Develop and implement effective sales strategies and marketing campaigns to promote the company's services.
· Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and repeat business.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored logistics solutions for clients and address their specific needs.
· Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
· Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports to management.
· Stay updated with industry developments, emerging technologies, and market trends relevant to the logistics sector.
· Develop and positively nurture the excellent good relationships with existing customers to maximize customer satisfaction and grow existing business
· Spearhead and participate in tender bids and lead price negotiation with customers, preparing all proposals and quotations
· Build long-term relationships with clients to develop a robust business partnership
· Perform regular and quality updates via our Customer Relations Management system
· Represent interests of the company before third parties
· Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
· Interact with and enhance even further the excellent relationship and teamwork with other departments in the company.
