Job descriptions:
- Providing excellent wait service to ensure satisfaction
- Taking customer orders and delivering food and beverages
- Making menu recommendations, answering questions and sharing additional information with restaurant patrons
- Up-sell additional products when appropriate
- Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software,order slips or by memorization
- Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
- Serve food and drink orders
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
- Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
- Deliver checks and collect bill payments
- Stock control of cutleries, plates and servis amenities, stock take of hardware. Maintain table decor and stock take.
- Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ year’s experience in same position level in a hotel, beach club or restaurant background.
- Hands-on approach and flexibility with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Commitment to delivering exceptional F&B services with a passion
- Strong leadership and management skills
- The ability to build and maintain positive and effective relationships with the team
- Strong project management, budget, and time management skills and an ability to work under pressure and within set deadlines
- Ability to find creative solutions while taking ownership of all duties and tasks assigned
- Teamwork-oriented
- Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service.
- Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new application; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
