Job Description:
- Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the superiors to meet the standard and the quality set by the Restaurant
- Conduct experiments to create cake recipes and evaluate the results of their creations.
- Prepare various types of pastry dishes for sale at the pastry shop, breakfast, afternoon tea, dessert for buffet and a la carte, and so on.
- Plan, organize and supervise work in pastry.
- Supervise pastry staff in using machines and other pastry facilities efficiently.
- Responsible for groceries and grocery costs.
Requirement:
- Experience as a Pastry chef minimum 3 years
- Ensure high standard product, sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout all kitchen areas.
- Strong leadership and ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Mastering the making of Pastry Production Operational Standards.
- Ability to provides training and development for all kitchen staff.
- Able to communicate well with Management and able to manage and ensure staff follow company rules and regulations.
- having cake decorating skills
