Provide financial report for internal and external usage
Responsible in analyzing and presenting financial reports in an accurate & timely manner by clearly communicating monthly and annual financial statements and ensuring that financial information (.
revenues, expenditures and cash management) are within budget; collate financial reporting materials for all business lines, and oversee all financial accounting
Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and keep communicate any progress, finding, etc.
to Financial Controller; assess any changes necessary.
- Implement a robust financial management / reporting system.
- Recommend updates to and implement all approved business policies and accounting practices; improve the accounting department’s overall policy and procedure manual.
- Identify variances between actual and budgeted financial results at the end of each reporting period.
- To fulfill any additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
- Adhere to the policy and procedure related of risk management, compliance, legal and other departments as per company’s direction.
- Serve as People Manager who is responsible for the overall people management related matters as per company’s direction which includes hiring best talent, develop talent, and ensure employee engagement.
- Bachelor degree from Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 8 10 years of experience with experience leading the Finance & Accounting Department and experience in Insurance Industry
- Sound knowledge of Financial & Accounting
- Excellent numeracy skills with the ability to analyze and present complex data
