As a Civil Engineer on our team, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of a chemical plant construction project. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in engineering design, with a strong background in reviewing Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Engineering Drawings (DED). The role involves a combination of office-based work and on-site project supervision.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing FEED and DED:
- Evaluate and analyze Front-End Engineering Design and Detailed Engineering Drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address any design discrepancies or challenges.
- Project Supervision:
- Provide on-site supervision and support during the construction phase to ensure the implementation of the approved engineering designs.
- Monitor and manage Civil Engineering aspects of the project, including but not limited to site grading, foundations, and structural elements.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular inspections to verify the quality of construction work and adherence to safety standards.
- Work closely with the project team to identify and resolve any issues related to Civil Engineering aspects.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation related to Civil Engineering, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure clear and concise documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with a focus on engineering design for industrial projects.
- Proficiency in reviewing Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Engineering Drawings (DED).
- Strong project supervision skills, with the ability to manage and coordinate tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
