Job Description - Data Center Engineering Support
The BMS and DC Automation Specialist will be responsible for controlling and managing the performance and availability of Data Center Engineering control and monitoring systems.They will oversee the operation of hardware, software, and networks, as well as manage and monitor mechanical and cooling systems.Working with the operations team, they will ensure the health, uptime, control, administration, and maintenance of related facilities.

Responsibilities
• Manage and administer ECMS & CMS software, hardware, and network communications.• Manage and monitor ECMS & CMS programming, graphics, and integration solutions.• Manage and monitor electrical diagrams, mechanical diagrams, building operations, control circuits, and other equipment to ensure record-keeping in DCIM/BMS.• Ensure ECMS & CMS are used in accordance with job scope and specifications.• Provide input to projects to improve efficiency and performance of current facilities.• Review and propose input on logic programming controller/sensor design, control sequence, and graphical user interface, and propose solutions to system suppliers.• Write, review, and approve technical documents such as emergency procedures and operations.• Engage in incident management, such as root cause analysis of controllers.• Schedule and oversee routine maintenance for BMS & DCIM.• Perform system adjustments to improve facility performance and energy efficiency/optimization.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, or related field.• Minimum 1 year of experience in facility maintenance, project management, BMS programming, and commissioning in Data Centers or industries.• Experience with Data Center equipment including MV/LV panels, generators, cooling systems, security monitoring systems, and understanding of commissioning processes.• Specific skills and knowledge: PLC & DDC programming, SCADA development, commercial & industrial communication protocols.• Knowledge of networks with an understanding of redundant BMS architecture.• Basic knowledge of power systems and cooling systems.• Basic knowledge of pumps, compressors, boilers, chillers, HVAC facility systems.• Basic knowledge of UPS systems and related switchgear.• Basic knowledge of standby generator systems and related switchgear.• Basic knowledge of sprinkler/fire alarm systems.• Basic to intermediate knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.• Basic knowledge of Ethernet multilayer L1/L2/L3 switching environment and related protocols.• Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.• Positive attitude, professional, responsible, hardworking, and eager to learn.
