OVERVIEW:
Serve as The EAM- Food & Beverage at Marianna Resorts & Convention, Tuk Tuk Samosir Sumatera Utara. The Executive Assistant Manager assists the General Manager and to keep a perfect coordination between all departments and controlling their operation with regards to the company’s standards, revenues, costs, highest comfort and satisfaction for guests and to maintain good relationship with and not limited to suppliers, government officials, competitors and other members of the local community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning and Organizing - to grow and maximize Hotel / Resort’s revenue in order to achieve the target set by Owning Company & MARCLAN Corporate Office (Hotel Operator).
- To coordinate and implement business strategy & plan in all Departments with regular update to the General Manager on achievements and key issues.
- To constantly review and to keep upgrading service & quality.
- To liaise with the sales & marketing for any business opportunities and to set the strategy/plan to maximize revenue.
- To clearly communicate Business Strategy & Plan to be able to have accurate action plan in all Departments.
- To operate an efficient and accurate administration process to meet statutory, legal and internal requirements.
- To hold daily briefings / communication for any update information or urgencies.
- To control and monitor adequate funds & resources available for smooth operations.
- As a point of leadership for all operational activities in the hotel, and to effectively lead and manage the day-to-day operational activities of the hotel.
- To control Payroll and Business Expenses.
- To oversee annual budget preparation and to plan budget & revenue target.
- To carry out the Duty Managers role as per management requirements.
- Responsible to oversee for highest quality standard of all preparation, presentation, and services.
- To oversee: guest rooms, public areas & back of the house areas including kitchen areas are maintained and clean.
- To support and implement corporate programs and guidelines.
- Establish, monitor, and evaluate Process Policies and Procedures.
- To ensure the highest standards of Health, Safety & Hygiene.
- In-charge in the absence of General Manager according to a given authorization.
- Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree from a reputable University.
- 10+ years of experience in the hotel or resort.
- 5+ years of experience in a management role, preferably within a well-reputed 4-Star or 5-Star Hotel /Resort.
- Demonstrate leadership by example.
- Preferably with a strong background in Food & Beverage.
- Excellent management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Dynamic & flexible personality with creative mindset
- Actively support the development, training, mentoring & coaching of team members.
- Manage quality improvement process in areas of customer service and team member satisfaction.
- Motivate and build a positive working environment in which team members are productive and innovative.
- Demonstrate self-confidence, positive energy, and high enthusiasm.
- Strong & effective public speaking and presentation skills.
- Prior experience with multiple stakeholder relationship management is essential.
- Strong analytical skills are a must.
- High ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities.
- Willing to be stationed in Samosir North Sumatera.
