The Role
Under the general direction of the Executive Chef, the Food and Beverage Supervisor will help monitor employees; ensure that responsibilities are met and assignment are carried out in accordance with our high standards; and will help motivate, train, and develop assigned staff. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, this person will help with all Banquet and F&B Outlets duties as needed.
This person’s main focus will be to be present on the floor, assisting the Food & Beverage team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Communicate and delegate tasks to the team
· Be present on the floor to assist F&B team as needed
· Ensure compliance of brand standards
· Assist F&B management with training and development of team members
· Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
· Lead the team during the shifts to ensure excellent guest service
· Ensure all food and beverage team members deliver the brand and provide exceptional service.
· Assist and support food and beverage team members.
· Inspect the food and beverage outlets daily for cleanliness and sanitation.
· Have a thorough knowledge of menus and applicable specials.
· Lead and manage the restaurant, room service and bar areas to ensure brand standards are adhered to.
· Remain in outlet during peak business hours, greet and engage with guests to ensure an enjoyable dining experience.
· Know and comply with state food handling and liquor laws.
· Perform any additional tasks requested by management.
· Assist in the planning, implementation, and post-event duties for all special events and private functions

Both hotels are anchored on the ground floor by our cantina-themed restaurant, Arriba Abajo, a 13,000 sq ft. indoor and outdoor oasis as well as The Diner Bar + The Grey Market, a street-side concept serving daily fare for locals, residents, and guests alike and helmed by award-winning Chef Mashama Bailey. This mixed-use project will also feature a residential tower – Sienna – and 10,000 square feet of retail space and a 7,000 sq. ft. state of the art fitness center and simulator room, appropriately named the “T” Box.
