Requirements:
FLUENCY in BOTH verbal and written English and Bahasa Indonesia is a MUST!
- Hands-on experience with Hotel Management software (PMS)
- Bachelor's degree in Rooms Division, Hotel Management, or other relevant fields. Bachelor's degree is desirable
- 1 or 2 years experience in similar position
- Strong affinity for and commitment to the hotel industry
- Strong market sense and results orientation
- Understanding of all hotel management best practices and relevant laws
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon their arrival.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, tours and local sites.
- Anticipate guest needs and build rapport with customers.
- Check guest rooms to ensure quality standards.
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues effectively, escalating to the appropriate department if necessary.
- Offer assistance with certain tasks (e.g. confirming travel arrangements, restaurant reservations, e.g.)
- Handle guest accounts, including charges and credits.
- Balance and reconcile daily transactions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
- Process guest payments, including cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
