Our client is looking for a General Manager with Food & Beverage operational background who has a desire to become instrumental in the development of a fast growing artisan bakery brand in Indonesia. The GM will have responsibility for all aspects of the bakery business with direct and indirect day-to-day operations.
Founded in an industrial cafe/bakery setting, our clients main goal is to serve artisan sourdough bread and pastries, along with a range of local artisanal handcrafted products and unique comforting meals throughout Indonesia.
The ideal candidate will be an expert communicator who has a strong ability to take responsibility and collaborate across a range of departments. Ultimately, the General Manager should be driven by a desire to lead our business to maximum productivity and efficiency.
The company has a C-level team of experienced professionals and plans to expand into bigger markets. If you have served as an Operational Manager overseeing business operations as well as human resources, finance, and communications, we'd like to talk with you.
Requirements
- Minimum five or more years of cross-functional leadership and P&L experience, ideally in the baking and/or food processing industry.
- Hands-on experience in continuous improvement and operational excellence is essential.
- Analytical and data driven with revenue & sales orientation.
- Demonstrable experience in Food & Beverage operations within hospitality sector (bakery and coffee background is a plus!)
- Ability to be a clear thinker, remain calm and resolve problems using good judgement.
- Demonstrated experience in luxury chain hotels.
- Max 45 years old.
- Maintain and develop relationships with vendors, service providers, and clients.
- Develop and implement new procedures as needed.
- Establish production, quality control, and customer service goals.
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
- Provide leadership to those under your command so that they might take more initiative in their roles.
- Establish policies that promote company culture and vision.
- Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of all department from Kitchen, Operations, Sales, Marketing etc.
- Develop and integrate staffing programs designed to attract the highest caliber of talent while satisfying the needs of business.
- Collaborate with the management team on five- and ten-year plans for corporate growth and evolution.
- Manage service employees and train them in the latest leadership and technical skills so they can better serve our clients.
- Helm budgeting and resource allocation efforts alongside the other C-level executives and the senior management team.
- Ensure all program initiatives align with the company's core values and culture.
