Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager of Human Capital to lead the human resources function for our Consumer Goods company. As the GM of Human Capital, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's business goals and drive employee engagement, development, and retention. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's culture and ensuring the effective management of its Human Capital.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute human resources strategies and initiatives that support the company's overall business objectives and growth plans.
- Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and HR operations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and address key talent management challenges and opportunities.
- Lead the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring the company attracts and retains top talent that aligns with its values and vision.
- Implement performance management processes that drive continuous improvement and development for all employees.
- Champion employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive organizational culture.
- Analyze HR metrics to make informed decisions and recommendations for improvements in HR processes and practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless HR operations and alignment with business strategies.
- Develop and manage HR budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and legal regulations to ensure compliance in HR practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in HR management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within the Consumer Goods industry.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing HR strategies that contribute to business growth and organizational success.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead teams effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into HR initiatives.
- Experience in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Proficiency in using HRIS and other relevant software tools.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
- Experience in leading HR functions within the Consumer Goods industry, including an understanding of market trends and challenges.
- Previous experience in change management and organizational transformation.
