Role Responsibility

The Head of Accounting with oversee the Financial Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Cantonal interactions in ORS – Located in Zurich.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
• Manage tax-related activities, including compliance, reporting, and optimization strategies.
• Lead treasury operations, including cash management, investments, and risk assessment.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with local authorities and Cantons.
• Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in accounting operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline accounting processes.

Successful Candidate

Languages:

• German (mandatory)
• English (mandatory)
• French (desired)

Required Experience & Successful Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Intercompany accounting
• Swiss Tax system
• Experience in accounting and finance roles, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
• Strong technical proficiency in Navision, Lucanet, and Microsoft 365 suite.
• Excellent knowledge of Swiss GAAP Fer and familiarity with IFRS accounting standards.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in leading and developing diverse teams.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
