Lead the human resources function and provide strategic direction to the organization
Act as a strategic business partner to the leadership team in the areas of HR, Government Relations, and General Affairs
Managing HR operations, including HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration, and ensuring that all HR processes are efficient and effective
Ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, and staying up-to-date with changes to labor laws
Developing and implementing effective employee relations strategies to ensure that the organization has a positive work culture, and resolving conflicts and grievances as needed
Manage relationship with labor union and other external organzations
The Successful Applicant
At least 12 years of experience in HR Management, preferably with a background in the logistics or manufacturing industries
Previous experience of working in a matrix structure and in a highly unionized environment
Proven track record as a business partner to senior stakeholders in the national and regional level
Excellent English-speaking and communication skills
Well-rounded understanding of current manpower regulations
Experience in leading the HR function for a large sized organization with over 500 employees
