Job summary
Supervise and monitor activities of Import DepartmentSelect and evaluate forwardersProcess import shipments and ensure compliance

Responsibilities
• Supervise and monitor all activities of the Import Department• Select new forwarders based on the New Forwarder Selection Procedure• Evaluate the existing Forwarders based on the Forwarder Evaluation Procedure• Process shipments and analyze import needs• Follow up on shipping schedule to Forwarder• Check import documents related to shipping• Process goods insurance and ensure data correctness• Prepare complete documents for Custom Clearance process• Follow up with Customs and coordinate delivery of goods• Check invoices from Forwarders and Express Couriers• Implement annual Cost Reduction activities• Ensure import and export document compliance• Make an Evaluation report on Achievement of Quality Goals
Requirements
• Minimum Education: S1• Minimum 3 years experience in the same field• Proficient in MS Office and SAP• Understanding of import procedures, customs regulations, and freight forwarders• English language skills, both written and oral• Good leadership and people management skills• Strong problem-solving skills with good judgment and sense of urgency• Good communication skills• Integrity, discipline, responsible manner, creative, and critical thinking• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment and fast-paced work demand• Good attitude• Immediate availability
