Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented IT Manager with a combined expertise in technology and business analysis to join our dynamic team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire IT infrastructure of our retail operations, while also leveraging your business
acumen to identify and implement technology solutions that drive strategic initiatives and improve overall business performance.
Responsibilities:
• IT Management:
- Lead and manage the IT department, ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of all IT systems and infrastructure, including networks, servers, desktops, applications, and security protocols.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards to optimize efficiency and security.
- Manage IT budgets and resources effectively.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends, evaluating and recommending new solutions to improve business processes.
- Oversee IT projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business objectives.
- Manage and support a team of IT professionals, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
• Business Analysis:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to identify and understand their needs and challenges.
- Analyze business processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement through technology solutions.
- Gather and document requirements for new or enhanced IT systems.
- Develop and present business cases for proposed technology solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Work with developers and other IT professionals to design, implement, and test new solutions.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of implemented technology solutions, reporting on key metrics and business impact.
- Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in retail technology and business analysis.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management within a retail environment.
• Proven experience in business analysis, with a strong understanding of business processes and requirements gathering.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Experience with retail technology solutions a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant IT hardware, software, and security protocols.
