- Responsible for Inbound and Outbound Logistics Operations day to day especially for Quarterend Revenue.
- Plan, drive and implement logistics business process improvements including reengineer ERP systems and logistics operation process flows for better efficiency.
- Drive new projects/programs from Site and Global Operations.
- Ensure projects meet desired objectives in timely manner and within budget. Prepare for presentations to the management and peer group as necessary.
- Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) as necessary for all system enhancement prior Go Live.
- Develop project methodology with project scope, timeline, communication strategy in order to meet business objectives.
- Coordinate and work with multiple stakeholders internally and externally including IT, Warehouse, Business Operations, Logistics Providers, and/or government agencies.
- Develop operation dashboards and performance measurements and reports.
- Automate manual reporting and improve data accuracies.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI) to ensure all functional and cross functional stakeholders are informed and trained.
- Analyze and monitor logistics operation spent and provide monthly spent summary.
- Identify cost improvement opportunities and proposal.
- Coordinate and be focal person to support both internal and external audits.
- Manage RFQ for local transportations and customs brokerage.
- Support C-TPAT supply chain certification requirements, assessment and audit.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management/ Trade Compliance or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Logistics industry and in transportation, supply chain, planning, logistics operations or other logistics related functions.
- Familiar with shipment incoterms and Harmonized System (HS) Codes.
- Excellent knowledge of logistics program management.
- Experience in creating Macros or User Programming is strongly preferable.
- Able to work independently.
- Knowledge in Malaysia Custom Requirements (LMW and Bonded) is a PLUS.
- Take initiative and be able to work with all levels of staff.
- Solid Knowledge in logistics operations.
- Familiar in handling import/export process within Malaysia.
- Strong Knowledge in ERP applications such as SAP/Oracle.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word/Excel /PowerPoint.
