Job Description:
As a Receptionist cum Store Keeper, you will be the initial point of contact for our organization, handling inquiries and providing assistance to visitors and customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining inventory within our store.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer incoming calls and transfer them to the appropriate personnel or department.
- Provide information to visitors regarding the company, its products, and services.
- Handle inquiries and requests from customers and ensure they are directed to the relevant staff members.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the reception area.
Administrative Support:
- Assist with administrative tasks such as sorting and distributing mail, filing, and data entry.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members.
- Coordinate meetings and conferences, including arranging facilities and catering when necessary.
- Assist with the preparation of documents, reports, and presentations as needed.
Store Keeping Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying accuracy of quantity and quality against purchase orders.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory within the store.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Prepare and maintain records of inventory transactions, such as receipts, withdrawals, and returns.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and records.
Customer Service:
- Assist customers with their inquiries and provide information about products and availability.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, using the appropriate software or systems.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Strive to provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall customer experience.
Team Collaboration:
- Coordinate closely with other departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
- Collaborate with colleagues to address any issues or challenges that may arise in the course of daily operations.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by supporting and assisting team members as needed.
