Responsibilities:
- Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking.
- Setting up meetings with potential clients and listening to their wishes and concerns.
- Responsible for establishing and managing relationships with customers in need of the firm’s freight transportation services.
- Maintain consistently positive interactions to nurture customer relationships.
- Take ownership of customer issues and follow-through till resolution.
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
- Follow up and monitoring customer outstanding payment.
- Work closely with Operational, Customer Service, and Documents team regarding the shipping / forwarding progress
Requirements :
- Bachelor Degree in related field
- At least 2 years of working experience as Sales/Business Development in Logistics/Freight Forwardingcompanies (Principal, Liner, LSP), especially in ocean/sea freight.
- Have computer skills MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Strong in client connection and good services
- Strong responsibility, self-motivated, able to work on Target
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Having high passion and a driving for sales success
- Has knowledge of the market place and company competitors
- Has ability to create, negotiate and closing commercial agreements
- Fluent in English both oral and written
