About Our Client
To prove their growth in Indonesia, our client (Reputable Law Firm) is looking to bring in a highly seasoned M&A lawyer(Senior Associate level) who has a combined academic excellence and excellent can-do attitude to join their Jakarta team. You will be based out of Jakarta office, and you will be working directly with clients from both local and global brands. They are one of the key players in Indonesia, and the firm has receives numerous awards since their business opens.
Job Description
As a Senior Associate, the selected candidate is expected to assist clients and support other team members and/or partners with corporate and M&A transactions.Other responsibilities include:
- Conducting due diligence and advising on the appropriate structure of the M&A deals.
- Preparing, facilitating, drafting, negotiating and reviewing the performance of the contracts.
- Providing advise on both local and international clients of various M&A related topics: local and multi-country M&A, joint venture, business transfer, cross-border transactions, corporate structures and others.
- Advising clients on relevant laws and issues, which includes various regulatory and compliance issues.
- Formulating legal strategies and providing legal opinions to clients.
- Developing legal guidelines and if required, involved in performing legal research.
- Working with colleagues and clients from various range of industries and business sectors across the world.
- Demonstrating functional competence and deep industry knowledge.
- Understanding the client's needs, and compiling and presenting all information, and providing advises.
- Managing other administrative tasks when needed - recording, invoicing, billing and resolving conflicts.
