Senior Associate Public Affairs

Job Description:

A Senior Associate serves as a secondary day-to-day client contact, supporting the Account Manager / Account Leader. They support multiple account teams and manage the flow of work and information to the account team. Senior Associates must maintain a thorough understanding of the client's business and industry, and understand how to translate that knowledge into solid public relations counsel to different levels of client contacts. S/he will help to interpret and implement strategic plans for clients in conjunction with other team members. A Senior Associate focuses on developing proficiency and the necessary skill set to become a successful PR practitioner.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting Account Manager / Account Leader in managing day-to-day activities of the account(s) deliverables, together with the team, including client interface, media, and other public relations (as necessary), supporting ongoing client content development, report development, and proceeding administration tasks.
• Participate in new business development including basic proposal development, conduct preliminary research, etc.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's or associate's with a minimum of 5 years of working experience in PR/Strategic Communications, Media Relations, or Research, ideally with both agency and in-house experience.
• University graduates in all majors, specifically Communications, Public Relations, Journalistic, and Social Studies.
• Digital savvy.
• A team player with coordination skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, both in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Ability to identify and solve problems creatively, committed to client service, and able to multi-task also work under pressure.
• General understanding of broader marketing, PR, and other digital tactics.
• A high degree of interpersonal and communication skillsUp-to-date with the latest industry trends and methods.
• Outspoken critical thinker, creative, self-driven with a great passion for communications.
• Experience in handling sectors, such as education, environment, health, economy, women empowerment, and child protection, will be added value.
