The Manager of Technology Risk manages the Bank's Technology Risks and ensures that appropriate controls and processes are in place to mitigate and manage these risks effectively. He/she plays a critical role in ensuring that an organization's technology systems and infrastructure are secure and resilient, which helps to protect the organization from cyber threats and other technology-related risks. By managing Technology Risks effectively, the Manager of Technology Risk helps to safeguard the organization's reputation, assets, and financial performance.
About the job:
- Developing and implementing the Technology Risk management framework and policies of the organization.
- Identifying and assessing Technology Risks associated with the organization's technology infrastructure, systems, and processes.
- Developing strategies to mitigate and manage Technology Risks and ensuring that appropriate controls are in place.
- Collaborating with other business functions and departments to ensure that Technology Risks are identified, assessed, and managed across the organization.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to Technology Risk management.
- Communicating the status of Technology Risks to senior management and the board of directors.
- Developing and implementing incident response plans for technology-related incidents and ensuring that they are tested and updated regularly.
About you:
- A minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in a Technology Risk management role in banking.
- Experience in Digital Banking and/or financial technology companies will be a significant plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
