Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement beverage strategies to drive sales and profitability while maintaining cost control measures.
- Curate an innovative and diverse beverage menu, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic options, catering to the preferences of our clientele.
- Train, mentor, and motivate the beverage team to deliver outstanding service and uphold Café del Mar's brand standards.
- Maintain inventory levels and ordering processes to ensure adequate stock while minimizing wastage and pilferage.
- Monitor and evaluate beverage trends, customer feedback, and industry developments to continuously enhance offerings and service.
- Collaborate closely with other departments, including kitchen, service, and events, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Implement and uphold hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with local regulations and company policies.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development among staff members.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Beverage Manager or similar role in a high-volume, upscale establishment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent knowledge of beverage products, trends, and techniques, with a passion for innovation and creativity.
- Familiarity with beach club work etiquette and experience in a similar setting will be advantageous.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in inventory management, cost control, and financial analysis.
- Valid certifications in responsible alcohol service and food safety.
