Café del Mar Bali, an iconic beach club renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and exceptional service, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Beverage Manager to join our team. As the Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the beverage operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and profitability.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement beverage strategies to drive sales and profitability while maintaining cost control measures.
2. Curate an innovative and diverse beverage menu, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic options, catering to the preferences of our clientele.
3. Train, mentor, and motivate the beverage team to deliver outstanding service and uphold Café del Mar's brand standards.
4. Maintain inventory levels and ordering processes to ensure adequate stock while minimizing wastage and pilferage.
5. Monitor and evaluate beverage trends, customer feedback, and industry developments to continuously enhance offerings and service.
6. Collaborate closely with other departments, including kitchen, service, and events, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
7. Implement and uphold hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with local regulations and company policies.
8. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development among staff members.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Beverage Manager or similar role in a high-volume, upscale establishment.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
3. Excellent knowledge of beverage products, trends, and techniques, with a passion for innovation and creativity.
4. Familiarity with beach club work etiquette and experience in a similar setting will be advantageous.
5. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
7. Proficiency in inventory management, cost control, and financial analysis.
8. Valid certifications in responsible alcohol service and food safety.
